At CareerLeap Intel (“CareerLeap”, “we”, “us”), we are committed to transparency and professionalism in delivering our study abroad and advisory services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which fees paid to CareerLeap may be refunded or not.

Academy Fee – Refund Eligibility

1. Non-Refundability Upon Service Initiation: The Academy Fee shall be non-refundable where CareerLeap has initiated two (2) or more of the following services:

    • One-on-one (1:1) session with the Client Management Team

    • School research and recommendations

    • Application submission to one (1) or two (2) institutions

    • Loan application or related financial advisory services

             Once the above threshold is met, the Academy Fee is deemed fully earned.

2. Voluntary Withdrawal After Initial Engagement: Where a client voluntarily withdraws after the initial 1:1 session with the Client Management Team, the client shall be entitled to a refund of twenty percent (20%) of the Academy Fee only.

3. Withdrawal After Thirty (30) Days: Where a client withdraws after thirty (30) days from the date of enrolment and engagement with the Academy, no refund shall be available, except where CareerLeap determines, at its sole discretion, that there has been a material failure in service delivery.

Any such claim shall be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

4. No Service Initiated: Where none of the listed services has been initiated, and the client elects not to proceed with their study-abroad pathway, the client may elect to either:

  • Transfer the Academy Fee to any other CareerLeap service; or

  • Request a full refund by submitting a written request in accordance with the procedure below.

Refund Request Procedure

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to:

The request must include the following details:

  • Full Name

  • Registered Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Proof of Payment / Receipt

  • Bank Account Details

  • Reason for Refund Request

5. Refund Processing Timeline: Upon receipt of a valid refund request, CareerLeap requires a notice period of one (1) month to process and issue the refund. Where circumstances beyond our control prevent finalisation within this period, CareerLeap will notify the client accordingly.

General Non-Refundable Services

1, Non-Refundable Payments: Except as expressly stated in this Policy, all payments made to CareerLeap are non-refundable once services have been rendered, whether in whole or in part. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Consultation fees

  • Application processing fees

  • Admission guidance

  • Visa support services

  • Documentation review and advisory

  • Proof of Funds (POF) services

  • Any other professional services agreed upon

2. Service-Based Nature of Fees: Clients acknowledge that CareerLeap’s services involve the immediate allocation of professional time, expertise, and administrative resources. Fees paid constitute compensation for services rendered and are not contingent on outcomes, including admission offers, visa approvals, or scholarship decisions.

3. Client Responsibility: Clients are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information provided. CareerLeap shall not be liable for delays, refusals, or adverse outcomes arising from inaccurate or incomplete information, and such circumstances shall not entitle the client to a refund.

4. Limited Exceptions: Refunds may only be considered where:

  • CareerLeap fails to initiate an agreed service within a reasonable timeframe without justification; or

  • A written agreement expressly provides for a refund for a specific service.

In all other cases, payments remain strictly non-refundable.

Specific Service Clauses

1, Proof of Funds (POF) Services

    • Third-Party Processing: Proof of Funds services are processed through an independent third-party provider engaged by CareerLeap. CareerLeap does not issue Proof of Funds documentation directly.
    • Non-Refundability Upon Initiation: Once a POF request has been initiated, submitted, or processed with the third-party provider, the applicable fee shall be strictly non-refundable, irrespective of outcome, delay, or subsequent withdrawal by the client.
    • No Control Over Third-Party Decisions: CareerLeap shall not be responsible for delays, refusals, or policy changes resulting from third-party providers, and such occurrences shall not entitle the user to any refund.

 

2. Study Permit Services

  • Conditional Refundability: Fees paid for the Study Permit application fee to Canada may be refunded only where the service fee has not yet been paid out, applied, or expended on behalf of the client.
  • No Refund After Payment or Submission: Once the Study Permit fee has been paid to a government authority, or otherwise utilised in furtherance of the client’s application, no refund shall be available, regardless of outcome.

 

3. Client Withdrawal: Voluntary withdrawal by the client after payment or submission does not entitle the client to any refund.

Acknowledgement and Amendment

By engaging CareerLeap’s services, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.

CareerLeap reserves the right to amend this Policy at its discretion. Continued use of CareerLeap’s services following any amendment shall constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

  1. Academy fees are non-refundable if the CareerLeap Team has initiated two or all of the following processes:
    • 1:1 Session with our Client Management Team
    • School Research and recommendations
    • Application to one or two schools
    • Loan application
  2. If an applicant decides to withdraw voluntarily from the CareerLeap Academy after the initial 1:1 session with our Client Management team, only 20% of the Academy Fee will be refunded.
  3. Also, if client decides to withdraw after 30 days of enrollment and engagement with their managers in the academy, refunds are no longer available, unless for an unsatisfied service which the situation will be reviewed by the team.
  4. If none of the mentioned processes has been initiated, and the client no longer wishes to pursue their study abroad route, the client has the following options:
    • Transfer their Academy fee towards any of our additional services or
    • Request a full refund by contacting hello@careerleapafrica.com, providing the following information: Full name, Email, Phone number, Payment Receipt, Account details, Reason for the refund.
  5. All refund request should be sent via email by contacting hello@careerleapafrica.com, providing the following information: Full name, Email, Phone number, Payment Receipt, Account details, Reason for the refund.
  6. Upon refund request, CareerLeap will require a notice period of 1 month to issue a refund. If certain circumstances beyond our control prevent finalizing the refund request, CareerLeap will inform the client accordingly.

At CareerLeap Intel, we are committed to providing transparent, reliable, and high-quality services throughout the study abroad process. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which payments made to us are handled.

1. Non-Refundable Payments: All payments made to CareerLeap Intel are non-refundable once services have been rendered, either in full or in part. This applies to all service categories, including but not limited to:

  • Consultation fees
  • Application processing
  • Admission guidance
  • Visa support services
  • Documentation review and advisory
  • Proof Of Funds (1 Month Duration)

Any other professional services agreed upon

Service-Based Policy: Since our services involve time, expertise, and administrative efforts that commence immediately upon engagement, clients acknowledge and agree that fees paid are compensation for services already provided, regardless of the outcome (e.g., admission decisions, visa approvals, scholarship awards, etc.).

3. Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the process. CareerLeap Intel shall not be liable for delays, denials, or unfavorable outcomes arising from inaccurate or incomplete information submitted by the client. Such circumstances do not entitle the client to any refund.

4. Exceptions: Refunds will only be considered in cases where CareerLeap Intel fails to initiate the agreed-upon service within a reasonable timeframe and without a valid explanation. A written agreement explicitly states refundable terms for a specific service (if any). In all other circumstances, payments remain strictly non-refundable.

5. Acknowledgment: By engaging CareerLeap Intel’s services and submitting, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Refund Policy. CareerLeap reserves the right to modify any terms and conditions within the Terms of Use at any time, at its sole discretion. Any changes will be posted at https://www.careerleapafrica.com/refund-policy (or another URL provided by CareerLeap). Regularly reviewing the policy is advised. Acceptance of modifications to the refund policy can occur through online acceptance of the terms or through continued use of any part of the Services following the posting of changes.
